Bordering the Chesapeake Bay, Buckroe Beach offers eight acres of family-friendly sandy beach, a playground for children, picnic shelters with tables and grills by reservation, a great walking and bike path, a Bark Park, and spacious car park area. Certified lifeguards are on duty daily from Memorial Day through Labor Day. Beach chair, umbrella, kayak and paddelcraft rentals are available to make your stay at Buckroe Beach completely convenient and enjoyable.

Directions

... to Buckroe Beach from the Peninsula: Take Mercury Boulevard east to Pembroke Avenue. Turn left onto Pembroke Avenue and follow until it turns into First Street. Pembroke T's off with 1st street inside Buckroe Beach Park.

... to Buckroe Beach from anywhere else:  From I-64 take exit 268 onto Mallory Street. Follow Mallory Street to Pembroke Avenue. Turn right onto Pembroke Avenue and follow until it turns into First Street. Pembroke T's off with 1st street inside Buckroe Beach Park.

... to Hilton Garden Inn from the Peninsula:  From Mercury Blvd. turn southeast onto Power Plant Parkway.  The 3DSSS Headquarters will be on your right about .5 miles from Mercury.

... to Hilton Garden Inn from anywhere else:  From I-64 take the US-258 Mercury Blvd. exit heading towards the James River Bridge.  Get immediately left (across 4 lanes) to turn left at the first light: Power Plant Parkway.  The 3DSSS Headquarters will be on your right about .5 miles from Mercury.

... to Buckroe Beach from the Hilton Garden Inn:  (less than 7 miles) Start out going northwest on Power Plant Parkway toward Mercury Blvd. Turn right onto US-258 Mercury Blvd. Proceed for 4.4 miles. Turn left onto E Pembroke Ave./VA-351. Pembroke T's off with 1st street inside Buckroe Beach Park.
