2011 Non-Profit Organizations

	The AIM for Excellence Foundation is a not-for-profit organization providing funding and programs enabling kids to participate the 3D Sports experience. 3D Sports programming is designed to encourage continued active living and promote healthy life choices into adulthood. We provide opportunities for kids to have both introductory and advanced athletic experiences which nurture the qualities that make great athletes and active citizens.
	Seton Youth Shelters provides a safe haven, counseling and outreach services, 24 hours per day, without charge, to assist youth in crisis throughout Hampton Roads, with the goal of reuniting families. It is the primary resource in Hampton Roads for and about teenagers ages 9-18.
	Houses of H.O.P.E. is a non-profit ministry that gives back to the community by providing food and shelter to the homeless, helping the elderly, teens, children and all people. We exist to bring encouragement, hope and love to those in need.
	LINK was founded in 1990 by leaders from the interfaith, civic and business community with a vision to break the cycle of poverty. LINK is a nonprofit volunteer organization which exists to help people help themselves through education, direct services, advocacy and outreach programs.
	Virginia SIDS Alliance is dedicated to serving families, educating the public and professionals about Sudden Infant Death Syndrome, and eliminating SIDS through research.
	Peace-N-the Streets acts as an agent within local communities, fostering the idea of self-help through elevated awareness. We reinvest into communities and organizations through contributions so that we can make a difference one community at a time.
	Virginia Power Soccer Association is a non-profit with the mission to develop, support, encourage, and foster the participation of Virginia’s power wheelchair athletes in the competitive sport of power soccer at the local, regional, national, and international levels.
	H.E.L.P. is a non-profit, faith based organization serving people in crisis by providing shelter, food, financial assistance, medical and dental care.
N.E.W. to YOU	N.E.W. to You is a project of 3D Sports' AIM for Excellence Foundation created to redistribute used sporting gear to young athletes on a tight budget. The mission is to prevent economic barriers from stopping a child's participation in youth sports.
	No Bully is a non-partisan non-profit, founded to protect all students from suffering the abuse that so many of endured when we were at school. We partner with schools and school districts nationwide to implement the key building blocks to create bully-free learning communities.
